“The Wall examines the complex and ever-evolving nature of one’s personal relationship with their race, with a specific focus on the black identity. The goal is to objectively analyze race, attempting to look at it as a preset of identity. A preset of identity, as we define it, is something that you are born into or are given at birth from your genetics. This also includes adjacent presets such as gender, sex, geographical environment, body shapes, religions, and the home in which you were socialized in.”
